About Me
Welcome! I’m Camelia Popa, the creator behind the Kamy’s Workshop brand and the artist who sees a whole world of possibilities hidden within the structure of paper.

In my small workshop, every flower is an invitation into a world of delicate details, harmonious colors blending on soft surfaces, and carefully crafted shapes. I work with patience, watching as paper transforms under my touch. Each drawn line, each layered petal, is an artistic gesture meant to spark curiosity and admiration in the viewer. What stories lie within the layers of petals? What emotions are woven between colors and textures? These questions guide you through every stage of my creative process.

As an artist, I am constantly searching for beauty that transcends material. In paper, I have discovered a medium that allows me to bring shapes to life, build intricate details, and create compositions that inspire. I love immersing myself in the act of turning paper into a flower, feeling how every tiny detail contributes to a harmonious whole.

How I Work – The Silent Language of Paper Flowers
The process is not just about technique. It is rhythm, observation, and emotion.

Through every flower, I try to express how beauty can be created step by step, without haste, at its own pace. In a world that often feels rushed, paper flowers offer a moment of reflection—an invitation to observe and listen to what is not said, but shown.

This silent language is essential in my work. The flowers I create are extensions of my artistic sensitivity, visual letters addressed to those who gaze upon them. They carry my desire to bring joy, to offer a moment of wonder, and to share with others what I see and feel.

Paper flowers are my signature, a personal language through which I communicate what cannot be spoken. They speak of distinction, of fragility transformed into strength, of beauty that endures. And the person who receives them becomes part of this silent conversation. In this way, paper is no longer just a material—it becomes a bearer of artistic and emotional messages.

The Creative Process – From Idea to Perfect Detail
My work process begins with selecting the finest materials—high-quality Italian and German floral crepe paper, carefully applied acrylic colors, and pastels. Alongside paper, I integrate auxiliary materials: floral wire, ultra-light modeling paste, water-resistant adhesives, and varnish spray, which seals the entire composition like a protective veil, preserving the intensity of each tone and the texture of every layer. The techniques I use are carefully designed to ensure that the final creation is a unique piece, pleasant both to the eye and to the touch.

From the first sketch to the final detail, every step is done by hand, with patience and craftsmanship. Cutting the elements, shaping the petals, assembling with care, and applying colors are essential processes that define my work. Each component is placed with precision, every shade is added thoughtfully to highlight the finesse of the details, and the finishing touches are executed delicately to ensure both elegance and durability.

This continuous pursuit of perfect design and subtle beauty is what defines my floral paper art.
